I warmly felicitate My Lord, the Honourable Justice Ifiok Enebong Ukanna as he takes a bow from the bench today, after years of meritorious service to humanity as a Judge of the Akwa Ibom State Judiciary.
My Lord, Justice Ukanna is one of the finest of the bench as he has consistently proven to be an epitome of integrity, fearless, hardworking, examplary prudent, dedicated ànd promoted the rule of law in and outside the courts. My Lord in his career has contributed immensely to the development of the judiciary and the entire legal profession which has culminated to my lord’s well deserved achievements on the bench.
His relationship with members of the Bar is excellent; one of mutual respect as he at all times showed that he is a product of the Bar and did not spare in sharing from his reservoir of the law with members of the NBA when the occasion demanded.
The popularity of my Lord in the Akwa Ibom State Judiciary, among lawyers and even litigants as a man of justice, gives credence to the fact that my Lord through his erudite judgments has been able to make justice available and accessible to all.
As he retires today from the bench to take a well deserved rest, I wish my Lord, a very happy retirement and pray he enjoys good sucess in his future endeavours.
