The International Conference of African Women Lawyers (AWLA) will begin today 31st  October 2018 at 4pm with a walk for Ochanya,the teenage girl from Benue State who was abused by an Uncle and later died.

The walk will commence from the Nigerian Law School,Victoria Island and all Lawyers in Lagos are expected to join the train in solidarity.

The walk will be followed with a cocktail at the Nigerian Law school.

The conference expected to be one of the biggest conference of women where burning issues concerning women will be discussed cutting across Law,Politics etc
