Maria Mbeneka was sworn in as a member of the Cooperatives Tribunal on 29 October 2019. The Tribunal is established under the Cooperatives Society Act Cap 490 (previously under Cap 12 of 1997).
She has accepted her nomination to serve as a member of the Tribunal and undertook to do so diligently. She said,
“I thank God for this opportunity to apply my professional skills and knowledge and I promise to apply myself as I have always done in all my undertakings in the service and delivery of the task ahead of me.”
