I have just received with sadness, news of the demise of Uche Wisdom Durueke Esq this afternoon. I commiserate with and extend my condolences to his family, colleagues and all the members of the Owerri branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
Mr. Durueke was a reputable bar man and an astute human rights activist in all ramifications. He was, one of the finest in the Owerri branch of the NBA.
I join his family, and our colleagues in the Owerri branch of the NBA in praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
