A Ugandan Intellectual Property Lawyer has been installed as the President of Rotary Club Bukoto Courtroom Mail reports. She takes over from Gloria Katuku whose tenure ended after a year of remarkable performance as president.
Mercy will serve as the 18th President since the club was chartered/established in 2003.
The handover ceremony was graced by Mr Bemanya Twebaze,the Registrar General/Official Receiver of Uganda registration service Bureau as the Chief guest while Ken W.Mugisha,the past district Governor presided.
Mercy reiterated the theme for the Rotary year 2020/21 which is , “Rotary opens opportunities.” and assured that indeed she will lead to open opportunities for others and serve humanity.
She works as the Director of Intellectual Property at UGANDA Registration Services Bureau .
