I wish all my Muslims brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers Eid Mubarak.
Let us use this opportunity to seek for the peace of this country. Let us pray for the peace and unity of this country. The Scriptures says
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (Nigeria)
2Chronicle 7:14.
The above is the Allah advice to mankind if only we can follow it.
That is the reason Al Qur’an says this advice is a healing.
*O mankind! *There has come to you a good advice from*
your Lord, and a healing for that which is in your hearts
(Quran 10:57).
Let us therefore seek for the peace of Nigeria so that we living inside it can prosper.
This is also confirmed by the scriptures
Psalm 122:6
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (NIGERIA) they shall prosper that love you.
And seek the peace of the city
whither I have caused you to
be carried away captive,
and pray unto the LORD for it;
for in the peace thereof shall
ye have peace.
Jeremiah 29:7
The Qur’an says Allah Himself is a peace giver
Qur’an 59 v 23
He is God; besides Whom there is no god; the
Sovereign, the Holy, the Peace-Giver, the Faith-
Giver, the Overseer, the Almighty, the Omnipotent,
the Overwhelming. Glory be to God, beyond what
they associate..
I beseech everyone to shun violence in any form. We should guard our utterances as well so as not to cause disaffection to the great country.
Nigeria is ours. Together we shall make it the best country we want it to be.
