My attention was drawn to the viral trend of the kidnap of Zainab Kishimi who is the serving Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Jalingo Branch.
It is disheartening to hear that such misfortune has befallen our learned colleague at this crucial time.
I therefore call on all the relevant authorities to do everything necessary to secure her release and ensure that those behind these atrocities are brought to book.
As a body, we must work together to ensure that the lives and safety of our members as well as citizens of this country are not put at risk.
