Courtroom Mail has obtained the directives of Foluke Akinmoladun, The Treasurer of Nigerian Bar Association , Lagos on how members of the branch can pay branch dues and obtain receipts during the closure of the branch’s office following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Her statement is as follows:
Good morning Learned silks, seniors and fellow colleagues. In the light of the closure of the NBA-Lagos secretariat, the following payment options are available for members to pay their branch dues:

Once the payment is done and is successful, the system generates the receipt and sends it to the recipient’s email
- Online payment transfer to Access Bank- NBA-Lagos Main Account: 0723555702
- Online payment transfer to First Bank NBA-Lagos account: 2010441132
Kindly note that you should not use mobile phone transfer codes eg *254# as your bank’s online platform may not be able to generate your electronic receipt and you will not be able to put a narration to your payment. Kindly make use of your bank’s online platform or mobile app so that you can generate an online electronic receipt which you can then print and bring to the secretariat whenever work resumes.
For all payments the narration should be NBA Lagos branch dues, year of call and insurance (where insurance is paid also).
