Robert Idigu, a young Lawyer practicing in Warri and Udu Delta State has won the 2023/24 Courtroom Mail Business Law Prize . In the finals that took place at 8am on the 3rd of February, Roberts, answered the final question at 8:02:41am while second correct answer from Tolulope Famoroti dropped at 8:05:10am
Roberts will be the 5th winner of the competition since it began in 2019 joining the likes of Abimbola Osinubi-2019 and pioneer winner of the competition, Ridwan Badmus, the 2020 winner, Chinonso Nnabuisi who won the competition in both 2021 and 2022.
The Prize for this year’s competition is N500,000.00 supported by George Etomi ,the first Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) who will be celebrating his 70th birthday this February.
The Competition came in four stages that began on the 4th of December 2023. Roberts is the President of Young Lawyers Forum, Udu, Delta State.
