Dear Colleagues,
As we join others around the world to celebrate this year’s Easter amid COVID-19 pandemic, I want you to be reminded that this is a perfect period to keep hope alive.
Christ’s death and resurrection symbolises a new begining. It is a transition from darkness to light and sorrow to victory. It is a reminder to us that all our worries, challenges, struggle have all been taken care by a supreme sacrifice.
The world is currently under the siege of a pandemic which threatens to annihilate mankind. The dangers are very real as there are presently no cure for the disease. Our dear nation is also not left out in the ravaging quest of the disease. For others, the future may be bleak but for us, this day, is a reminder to that we are conquerors like Jesus.
We can overcome this pandemic, by using this special day to collectively seek the face of God in prayer. Looking at the poor health facilities in our country today, I am more convinced in my mind that the only solution for us at this time, is a divine solution.
As we all pour our hearts out in prayers at this special day, I also enjoined us to obey the government’s lockdown and social distancing order which is meant to contain the spread of the virus.
Let us also remember the needy among us and share a piece of Christ love with them. A word of encouragement, some food items or money would definitely go a long way in making these day a memorable one for someone out there.
As we celebrate the miracle of Christ’s resurrection, I pray your heart absorbs the blessings it comes with. May this Easter inspire you to new hope, happiness, prosperity, healing and abundance, all received through God’s divine grace.
