I congratulate the Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association on the occasion of its 16th Annual Gani Fawehinmi lecture with the theme “Federalism And Whether our Judiciary is under Serious Threat”.
The event which holds every 15th of January in memorial of the January 15, 1965 Call to Bar date of the Late luminary has become a must attend for all lawyers.
Late Chief Fawehinmi, was not only a gem but also an icon; a rare breed of a truly patriotic and nationalistic citizen.
Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi was a Legal Legend who contributed vigorously to the entrenchment of good governance and promotion of human rights.
Once again, I say a heartly Congratulations to the Association as we continue to strive towards taking the noble profession to loftier heights.
