Anthony Atata, a top sports Lawyer has been appointed by the Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos branch I.K Uwanna to head the Sports Committee of the Branch.
Atata, a renowned sports lawyer at the last NBA Lagos Branch meeting outlined the Committee’s plan to engage the branch in constant recreation in the next one year.
According to a report he presented at the meeting, the Branch will begin monthly aerobics in two locations, National Stadium and another place on the Island.
He also outlined the Committee’s plan to engage in quarterly sporting activities where different sporting events and games will hold every quarter.
The activities include chess, Scrabble,Table Tennis, Volleyball, badminton etc.
He also notified the Branch that the football team of the branch has commenced training in anticipation of the Annual General Conference in Port-Harcourt.
Mr Atata is the founder of Lawyers Table Tennis Open(Mfon Usoro cup) and sits on the board of Native Chiefs Cycling Club.
