The President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) has informed the NBA Prosecution team that it is exempted from the dissolution of committees announced in his inaugural speech. Breaking News: Paul Usoro receives certificate of return from ECNBA as NEC ratifies election

Paul Usoro SAN the winner of the 2018  elections of the Nigerian Bar Association has received his certificate of return from the Chairman of the Election Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association(ECNBA) PROF Yadudu.

Courtroom Mail recalls that the election was held on the 18th and 19th of August instead of sometime in July as provided by the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association.

However,the constitution provides for NEC ratification if there is any reason for holding the election beyond the date hence the ratification.

Paul Usoro will become the 29th President of the NBA after he is sworn in on Friday and shall serve for a tenure of two years.

He will be serving along side others elected in different capacities .

PAUL USORO, SAN – The Leader that will Reform the NBA

As the 2018 National Elections of the largest Bar in Africa – the Nigerian Bar Association (“NBA”), draws nigh, varied gimmicks; schisms, permutations, calculations, campaign of calumnies and bitter politicking are playing out at various quarters, for who occupies the most coveted position – the office of the NBA President. Undoubtedly, all these are humans’ efforts, partly to win the support of lawyers and sadly, to elbow some candidates out of the race. Certainly, the latter is not healthy for a noble association like the NBA. The race for sure, we know is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong.
