AWLA Conference: Betty Iddrisu(Ghana), Funke Adekoya(Nigeria),Pearl Kupe(Botswana),Carol Daudi(Kenya) to speak

Hon Betty Mould-Iddrisu,the founder and Pioneer President of African Women Lawyers Association(AWLA) will be among the high profile delegates and speakers to attend the international conference of AWLA coming up in Lagos at the end of October.

Other delegates and speakers include Funke Adekoya SAN ,Hon Justice Amelia Izuako and Nkechi Ali Balogun from Nigeria. Edna Kuma and Nana Oye Lithur from Ghana.

Caroline Kamende Daudi from Kenya and Dr Pearl  Kupe from Botswana.

The conference is slated to hold from the 31st of October to the  3rd of November at the Nigerian Law school,Lagos and registration is still on going  on awlanigeria.org.

The  conference will have delegates from all over the world  converging to in Lagos to continue the conversation on matters that affect women including the Maputo Protocol,The African Woman in sustainable development-Road map to 2030 etc

IBA-AF Conference opens in Accra

The Opening Ceremony of the IBA-African Regional Forum conference holding in Accra took place yesterday with a Keynote address by the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo represented by the Attorney General of Ghana Gloria Akuffo who emphasized on the need for Lawyers to develop competence in emerging areas of Law to be able to compete globally.
