Some top players in Lawyers Table Tennis Open- Mfon Usoro Cup have joined friends and well wishers of Mrs Mfon Usoro in celebrating her birthday as she clocks 60 today.
Titilayo Osagie,a senior Lawyer who has won all the female championships except one has expressed her gratitude to God for the life of Mrs Usoro who sponsors the event which began in 2009.
Mrs Osagie has gone home with the 1st prize and the Gold trophy nine times since the female category was introduced in 2010.
Tunji Abdulhameed who is on record as the Lawyer who has won the tournament the most (2013,2014,2015,2017)joined in wishing her a happy birthday.
Yahaya Olarewaju the first non Lagos based lawyer to win the tournament in his message said “Happy birthday amiable n kindhearted madam,age with grace ma”
Mr Yahaya Olarewaju won the tournament in 2018 and 2019.
Kabir Adeleke,the 2016 winner of Lawyers table Tennis Open – Mfon Usoro cup joined in the celebration and good wishes.
Mr Fabunmi a well respected Senior lawyer and a supporter of the tournament who won the tournament in 2010 also sent his felicitations on the occasion of her birthday.
Mr Ajalla a player in the tournament also sent in his good wishes.
Lawyers Table Tennis Open- Mfon Usoro cup is the biggest sporting event among Lawyers in Nigeria with lawyers cutting across more than 15 states of Nigeria Participating.
The event has attracted the sponsorship of top corporations like Airtel, Access Bank,FCMB, Premium Insurance etc
