Among other grounds,the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the APC have raised a ground in their reply to the petition filed by the Labour Party’s Peter Obi at the Presidential election tribunal stating that Peter Obi was not a member of the Labour party as at the time he was nominated.
The reply received by Courtroom Mail which is downloadable below,the reply states that pursuant to section 77 of the Electoral Act,only members whose names appear in the register of members qualify to contest election under such political party.
