As the Law week of the Nigerian Bar Association,Ibadan Branch begins today,a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Paul Usoro has sent a good will message to the members of the branch extolling the theme of the conference which he said resonates with the global core values of the Legal profession.
In his message he said
“It is my pleasure to felicitate with the Executive Committee and the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association Ibadan Branch on the Occasion of the Branch’s 2017 Law Week.
The theme of the Law Week “Integrity of the Nigerian Bench & Bar. A Prerequisite for Sustainable National and Economic Development” resonates with the global core values of the Legal profession which underscores the independence of the profession, duty to courts and facilitation of the administration of, and access to, justice.
By putting these core values front and center of the Law Week, Ibadan Branch has taken a giant stride for the profession and the Nigerian public.
Regrettably, I am unable to participate in the activities of the Law Week as I am in Sydney, Australia for the International Bar Association Conference. “
The law week is expected to end on the 13th of October 2017 with a dinner.
