OGAGA EMOGHWANRE, AICMC MOURNS WITH THE PORTHARCOURT BAR OVER THE PASSING OF MR. L.E. NWOSU, SAN

The news of the sudden demise of the revered L. E. Nwosu, SAN came serendipitously upon me, shattering the serenity of the dawn.

L. E. Nwosu, SAN was a dedicated philanthropist whose magnanimity, charity, goodwill and succor to the downtrodden remain unparalleled.

He was a renowned expert in oil and gas litigation with several high profile cases to his credit.

The Portharcourt Bar and the association have lost an icon and our grief knows no bounds, only taking solace by the words of the Hymist, Horatius Bonar in his Hyme: ‘Fadding Away Like the Stars of the Morning’, where he postulated that we are only to be remembered by what we have done.

The life and times of the departed Silk was impactful. He shall forever be remembered by the numerous good deeds of his lifetime.

My thoughts and prayers are with Portharcourt Bar, his family, friends and colleagues as I pray that the Lord grants us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Good Night Learned Silk.
