The attention of the Management of the Nigerian Law School has been drawn to the unfortunate news making rounds in the polity, especially in the social media that five Law School graduates lost their lives in a fatal accident during clearance in Abuja.

Worried about the sad news, the Management of the Nigerian Law School conducted a full scale investigation with the officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the Nigeria Police, Bwari Division. The outcome revealed that no student or graduating student was involved in the referred road mishap that regrettably claimed some lives.

While we commiserate with the families, relatives and friends of those who lost their lives in the sad event, we want to use this medium to inform the general public that the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Bwari Division, CSP Biodun Makanjuola has confirmed that none of the Nigerian Law School students or graduates died in the accident.

The general public is therefore advised to disregard the news, as it is untrue and false. Signed:  Chinedu Ukekwe

Deputy Director & Head, Office of Advancement ( Information, Alumni & Protocol) Nigerian Law School.
