The NBA commiserates with Awka Branch and family members of Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi, Esq over the demise of Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi. The full note signed by the national Publicity Secretary of the Association reads:
The NBA mourns with the Chairman and members of Awka branch over the painful passing away of activist lawyer, Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi, who passed on recently during child birth.
Mrs. Okpalaeke-Obidi was well known for her advocacy for citizen’s welfare and rights, she was a vibrant member of Awka branch.
On behalf of the National officers and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, the NBA President expresses his condolencs to the leaders and members of Awka branch, the family and friends of our departed Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi
We pray that the Almighty God grants her a peaceful transition and gives her family, colleagues and friends the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss..
