The Members of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association will today begin the first quarterly meeting of the year in the ancient city of Ilorin where deliberations that will include the constitution of an election committee for the next election of the association will be on the table.
Paul Usoro SAN in his good will message has urged lawyers in attendance to contribute their quota in upholding the defence and promotion of Justice and rule of Law which is the very essence and bedrock upon which the NBA was founded.
In his message,he proceeded by also urging them to keep the interest of the NBA paramount in their deliberation.
“As we proceed with deliberations, I warmly encourage and call on our distinguished NEC members to give paramountcy to the interest of NBA by making progressive suggestions and contributions that will project NBA as a formidable force to reckon with both domestically and globally”
The meeting is expected to hold on the 1st of March with more than a thousand lawyers in attendance.
