A lawyer hired by the former Chair of Pension board, Abdulrasheed Maina, who is undergoing a trial for money Laundering has withdrawn his representation. Adeola Adedipe was representing Maina’s company – Common Input Property and Investment Ltd . He informed the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday, at the resumption of proceedings in the case, that he has filed a notice, indicating his intention to withdraw from further representing his client.
He told the court that brief has not been perfected meaning perhaps that he has not been paid. He apologised to the court for being absent from proceedings during some of the recent adjournments.
