The Chief Judge of Lagos State,Honourable Opeyemi Oke has ordered the removal of notices,obituaries,personal land sales,job vacancies and other advertisements posted on the walls and notice boards in the premises of the High Court In Lagos.
In a communication dated 19th of December 2017,signed by the Chief Registrar,the ChiefJudge stated that such unwholesome practice negates the commitment and vision of the Lagos State Government at Large and such direction was to ensure that a clean image of integrity and Transparency is showcased.
Subsequent to that,she ordered that placements of adverts/notices must be officially paid for and placed only in the officially recognised noticeboards.
