I recently received distressing news that the Vice Chairperson of the Jalingo Branch of the NBA, Mrs. Zainab Kashimi was kidnapped earlier today. This news is saddening and frightening too.
My heartfelt sympathy goes to Zainab, her colleagues, friends and family at this trying time.
The current level of insecurity in our nation is a matter of grave concern and our government must do something urgently to address this problem. It is patent that the current security structures are not working and government needs to do something different from what it is doing at present.
I urge the security agencies to do everything possible to secure Mrs. Kashimi’s safe release and return to her family.
