The National Executive committee (NEC) meeting has kicked off at the NBA house in Abuja with NEC members including senior advocates of Nigeria, NEC representatives, Chairmen and Secretaries of branches across the country.
The arrival of JK Gadzama excited lawyers present as they welcomed him amid cheers.
The Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lokoja branch moved for adoption of the minutes of the 6th of December 2018 and was seconded by Abdulahi esq from Kano.
An important aspect of the NEC meeting is the “Paperlessness”.
Former Presidents of the NBA Mr O Okpoko, OCJ Okocha, Austin Alegeh were present.
Yusuf Ali,Mike Ozekhome, Sena Adio were also present.
Free Wifi was provided for lawyers to be able to download necessary meeting materials.
The meeting commenced at scheduled with the National anthem and and opening prayers
