Courtroom Mail Echoes from the 2025 Enugu NBA-AGC 2025
Ofcourse Abodia Kennedy wasn’t going to become Kwam 3 at all but “Kwaming” Airlines in Nigeria today has become a way of gaining attention or perhaps getting issues resolved.
Abodia threatened to use it on a lighter note when she almost lost the Air Peace seat she paid for to attend the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference in Enugu.
She wrote on her facebook profile:
“So i booked my Airpeace flight to Enugu since 4th June, 2025 and my flight details was sent to me via mail. Yesterday i tried checking my booking so i choose my seat as i always do a day to every flight. The booking PNR code showed invalid, i tried several times and same thing.
I immediately sent a mail to Airpeace Customer care and they claim they couldn’t find my name on the flight and also no payment against my name. I responded by attaching my bank statement showing i paid for the flight and also their mail in June acknowledging payment. Then they responded after some minute that they have traced my payment and can confirm i paid for the flight, however they do not have any seat available for me and they can process my refund if i so wish (This actually sounded so funny and annoying all at once). They even insisted that there is no way i can fly as the plane is fully booked and no seat available at all.
Anyways, i responded to their mail and informed them i will take legal action against them and that i am a lawyer who knows my right. I informed them they should immediately place me on the flight as i needed to be in Enugu and i definitely can’t book another airline considering the hike in price. They didn’t respond to my mail till later in the evening when i sent a mail threatening to go to the airport and will cause them National disgrace and that i must enter the flight or the plane won’t move (Me ke, i don’t even have that mind or energy. So that they will say i am Kwam3???. Loool😂🤣).
Five minutes later, they sent me a mail informing me that they have gotten a seat for me and sent me the flight details. The more you try to think this Country will get better, the worst it gets. The level of lawlessness is appalling. If i didn’t threaten, if i didn’t stand my ground, they would go ahead to refund a flight i book since two months ago?.
Anyways, it’s time to make the most of my stay in Enugu. NBA conference, let’s have a great time”
