Governor Okezie this afternoon at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House Umuahia swore in the reappointed Secretary to the State Government, Dr Eme Okoro.

The oath of allegiance was administered on Dr. Okoro by the State Solicitor General, Enyinnaya Okezie Esq.
Governor Ikpeazu charged the reappointed SSG to take the administrative tempo of the activities of government notches higher describing the office of the SSG as the administrative clearing house of government.
The Secretary to the State Government who was flanked by his wife thanked the Governor for finding him worthy of reappointment in his cabinet and pledged to continue to work hard to ensure that the dreams of the Governor are fulfilled.
Dr. Eme Okoro, an indigene of Ozuitem in Bende LGA was first appointed SSG by Governor Ikpeazu at the inception of his administration. He was reappointed after the dissolution of the cabinet by the Governor.
The event was attended by top officials of government including the State Head of Service, Dr. Vivian Uma, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Chief Umeh Kalu, SAN, Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Obinna Oriaku and others.
