The 2024 George Etomi Courtroom Mail Business Law Prize for young lawyers will open on Wednesday 30th of October 2024 on courtroommail.com.
The competition which usually takes place in the last quarter of every year was last year extended to February 2024 in celebration of the 70th birthday of George Etomi on the 15th of February 2024 but shall hold this year from 30th of October when the registration question will open to Saturday 23rd of November 2024 when the final question will be answered by competitors.
George Etomi, the first Chairman of NBA Section on Business Law ( NBA- SBL) and a leading business Lawyer in Nigeria has inspired a lot of lawyers across the African Continent.
The winner of this year’s edition of the quiz prize will go home with N250,000.00.
The competition is open to young lawyers who are in their 7th year post call and below, i.e, those who were called from 2018 to the current year.
The competition will be in three stages that will be answered on Courtroommail.com . The first stage will have a question posted on the 30th of October in the Quiz Hall menu of Courtroommail.com. That question will be known as registration question and anyone who answers the registration question is deemed to have registered for the competition. The question will be open until the 13th of November when registration will close.
On Saturday 16th of November at 8am, the second stage question(s) will be posted and half of the participants who answer correctly will qualify for the third and final stage.The second stage question will be closed at end of the the day being 12midnight on the 16th of November.
The third and final stage question will be posted on 23rd of November 2024 and the first to answer correctly will win the prize of N250,000.00

The General rules of the competition are:
Only those who participated in the registration question will proceed in the competition. No one can join along the way.
If a participant answers twice,the first answer will be considered.
Participants are encouraged to take note of the dates and time of the competition as Courtroommail.com is not obliged to send reminders.
