The International Federation of Women Lawyers [FIDA] Nigeria, Lagos Branch announces her annual Law Week which is set to kick off on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022 at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, Lagos with the theme “Education as a catalyst for boosting the self-image of the African Child”.
The annual program is held in commemoration of the United Nations 2022 International Day for the African Child and it offers FIDA a great opportunity to continue with campaigns and various activities to improve the literacy, health, and economic well-being of women and children in Nigeria.
Announcing the schedule of activities, the Chairperson, Law Week Committee, Mrs. Abiola Laseinde, assured members of an activity-packed week. She said there will be interactive sessions on the first two days commencing the Law Week, charity visitations on the third day and for the grand finale, there will be an exclusive imperial dinner on the last day that will afford members and interested parties the opportunity to experience the Full-on social scene of Fidans.
The Law Week Committee revealed that the two-day conference will have key stakeholders and distinguished personalities in attendance. The first sessions will hold on Tuesday, 14th and Wednesday, 15th June, 2022. A number of sub-topics will also be discussed at the law week including: “The Future-Fit Female Professional”, “Create & Strengthen Your Personal Brand”, “Bitter-Sweet Experience of being a Female Lawyer” etc.
With the array of the confirmed speakers, the Law Week promises to be engaging and cerebrally rewarding.
