Managing Partner of SPA Ajibade & co, Dr Babatunde Ajibade,SAN met with Law Officers in the ministry of Justice, Yenagoa as part of his ongoing consultation with various stakeholders across the country.
Dr Ajibade SAN who was warmly received by the Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General of the State, Mr. Preye Agedah and other top officials of the ministry urged the Law officers to continue discharge their duties with utmost professionalism as they are a critical part of the Justice system.
” The role of Law officers cannot be over emhasized as they are legal advisers to government and act on behalf of the state. I implore you to continue to carry out your duties professionally by giving sound legal service to the state.
The Learned silk also tasked the Law Officers to take more interest in the activities of the Bar as their participation will help ensure an all inclusive Bar for all strata of the profession.
In his response, the Permanent Secretary and Solicitor General thanked Dr Ajibade SAN for his visit to the state and assured him of the support of the officers in his quest to lead a united Bar that will cater for the interests of all sections of the profession.
