A well known female Lawyer in Asaba,Delta State is changing the dynamics of the forthcoming election in the Midwest.
Awele Ideal,known for her confidence and hard work has taken a bold step to drum up support for Dr Babatunde Ajibade in the forth coming election of the Nigerian Bar Association.
In a message obtained by Courtroom Mail,Awele narrated her encounter with Dr Ajibade and expressed her conviction that Dr Ajibade should be the next NBA President. She described him as a great hope for the legal profession and many lawyers agree with her that the need for a united Bar will only be achieved by someone of Ajibade’s character.
In recent months,the dynamics of the process have been changing in favour of Ajibade across the country. The reason is obvious.

One encounter with him gave me the much needed confidence in our noble profession. I found a Man of integrity, robust intellect and a great hope for the Legal Profession.
I met Dr BABATUNDE AJIBADE SAN in 2018 at the IBA Regional Conference which held at Accra, Ghana. He had delivered a very articulate and brilliant lecture on “The Future of the Legal Profession” that captivated my soul and left me mesmerised . I would be right to say that his tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Don’t get me wrong, words alone never move me, body language speaks louder and boy was I impressed. There stood a man with great passion and love for the betterment of our noble profession. I was so inspired, motivated and charged by His words. After the lecture I boldly walked up to him, initiated a conversation and the rest they say is history. His humility is topnotch as he believes in mutual respect among lawyers as professional colleagues, regardless of Seniority or title.
Dr BABATUNDE AJIBADE SAN is a man of nobility, integrity and confidence. He is what the Nigerian Bar needs at a time like this to save her face from the numerous challenges that plague her. I am giving him my 100 percent undiluted support and I’m inviting you to thread this path with me as we work together to achieve a UNITED BAR.
