Courtroom Mail’s expert list of Lawyers on its “Find a Lawyer” link was launched in 2016 to promote an online visibility for African Lawyers according to their areas of competence. The Directory is built in such a way to emphasise specialization.
Over a period of 4 years, it has maintained growth with about 1200 Lawyers from 15 African Countries listed.
In recent times, more and more people now go online to search for lawyers in specific areas of practice with Family (Divorce) Lawyers, Company Lawyers, Tech lawyers, Human Rights Lawyers, Criminal Lawyers as hot in searches.
On another hand, sometimes, visitors to search engines do not know exactly what lawyers in some specific areas of practice actually do and how they can be of use e.g, Human Rights Lawyers are usually confused with Criminal Lawyers, people seeking a lawyer to represent them in a Landlord/Tenant matter sometimes search for a property lawyer instead of a litigation lawyer etc. We will continue to educate the public on what lawyers in specific areas of law do.
To get verified for one year, you must have been a free subscriber. Sign up here if you are not listed or click here to upgrade to a verified Lawyer if you are already listed.
