An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo, the state capital has refused the bail applications filed for Rahmon Adedoyin and six other defendants in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke, a Master’s student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

The Presiding Judge and Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Adepele in her ruling on Monday refused their bail applications based on the nature of the case, and on the ground that the correctional center has all necessary facilities to cater for those with “not critical” medical conditions.
Adedoyin is the owner of the Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile-Ife where Adegoke was allegedly murdered.

He is charged with an attempted felony, conspiracy, unlawful interference with Adegoke’s corpse, tampering with the hotel’s receipt and CCTV camera with the intent to destroy evidence that would prove that the victim visited the hotel, among others.

Adedoyin and six others arrested in connection with the death of Timothy Adegoke had been arraigned and remanded till Monday for ruling on their bail applications.
