The Court boycott can by the Nigerian Bar Association has recorded significant success on its first day.
The Boycott continues tomorrow as more Lawyers are set to join .
Lawyers in Portharcourt,Benin,Uyo, Owerri ,Ibadan complied fully with the directives.
However,some lawyers in Kano and Jigawa posted on social media that they may not comply with the directives though information reaching Courtroom mail has it that the courts were unusually scanty today.
Lawyers at the Igbosere High Court had about 75% compliance as a few lawyers were seen marauding around the Court Premises.On further enquiries,it was discovered that many of them were lawyers who came from outside Lagos to do their matters who only heard of the order when they have already left their destination.
Courtroom mail can confirm that Justice Jose sat while Justice Lawal sat briefly and rose.
Many Courts did not sit at the federal High Court in Ikoyi.
