Chinonso Nnabuisi has won the 2022 George Etomi Courtroom Mail Business Law Prize for young Lawyers.
Mr Nnabuisi will be winning it for the second time since the competition began in 2019.
He answered the final question of the four stage competition this morning at 8:01:14 am while Abimbola Osinubi who came second answered hers at 8:01:30. A time difference of 16 seconds.
GECMBLP is a winner takes it all competition so Chinonso Nnabuisi will be carting away the 100,000 worth of business Law books which will be given in cash.
The first edition in 2019 was won by Abimbola Osinubi while that of 2020 was won by Ridwan Badmus who took a cash prize of 100,000 for the first time( because the organisers believed that a cash prize will bring a special value amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and disruptions).
Chinonso ,a graduate of Abia State University,will be the third and fourth to win the competition and the first to win outside Lagos. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016 and practices in Onitsha,Anambra State.
