Oluwanike Omotayo has emerged the winner of the 2019 Abimbola Akeredolu SAN Courtroom Mail Prize for Female Lawyers out of the 280 lawyers that competed.

She emerged after a quiz competition that was organised in four elimination stages.
23 lawyers competed in the finals which took place on the 9th of March 2019.
Mrs Akeredolu SAN sponsored the prize in commemmoration of the 2019 International Women’s Day.
The competition was opened to those who were 10 years and below post call.
Oluwanike was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015 and practices law in Akure,Ondo state. She is a litigation lawyer.

Rafiat Shittu from Ibadan came 2nd in the competition. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.She will go home with the second Prize.

The third prize will be taken by Taiwo Aladejana from Abuja who was called in 2016.
The Prizes will be made up of law reports of different subscription categories.
