Investigations have revealed that the NBA or any of its officers did not disburse any money belonging to the association to anyone at the just concluded NEC meeting.
There has been some pockets of allegations since the last NEC meeting on the issue of some $2000 dollars shared by the NBA,which the NBA has vehemently denied.
Investigations which involved the the sighting of NBA’S statement of account did not reflect any out flow that suggests that such payments were made.
The NEC meeting which usually commences with reception cocktails had the Governor of Bornu state in attendance but he neither addressed the gathering nor made any representation. He was on leave at the time. He neither announced, presented, nor declared any financial gift to members of the Bar nor any specific group.
The false allegation has escalated the calls for the resignation of the NBA President which many members of the NBA have written off as totally unnecessary especially owing to the fact that nothing seems to point towards the fact that the NBA has acted as alleged.
