The 2024 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association will begin on the 23rd of August. At conference, Lawyers will hear reasons to press forward. Aduke has come to tell you some things that will happen at the sidelines we have to come to terms with. Whether we like it or not, Aduke is telling you that they must happen in the course of Pressing forward.
- From the records of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), more than 12,000 lawyers registered for the conference. Yes! That is the official number. Whether we like it or not, another one quarter of that number will arrive Lagos without registration. They will still enjoy it without going into the halls.
- Whether we like it or not, as usual, NBA Lagos branch Party will be the best party at the conference. If you like fix your party the same time Lagos will be having their party, you will be on your own. Your branch Chairman sef will be in Lagos Party.
- Many Law school classes will be having their get together and each of them will be forming as if they are better than others. Members of – Law school class of 2004 are already showing themselves for their 20th Anniversary party at Muson Center.
- We heard that there won’t be conference bags. This means that there may not be a lot of conference materials. For Legends attending the conference, it is not a big deal. Whether there are conference materials or not, they will surely have their conference materials. Pun Intended.
- You know all those supporters of Afam Osigwe SAN, at this conference, they will be behaving as if they have made it in life.
- Whether we like it or not, many registered lawyers will spend more time at the friendship center and Mammy Market after the opening ceremony. It is not your business.
- Of course, some people phone go loss. Aduke no talk say na lawyer go steal am o.
- You know those lawyers that buy books in Ghana Must Go as if they are writing another Bar Exams, they usually travel back by road. They don’t like entering flight.
